    Shooting Time Backlog ?

I seem to have amassed a number of air rifles which because some have been recently acquired and others I've switched scopes on, probably about six or seven in all, I've not managed to shoot !
Owing to the fact were in mid winter, has worsened the situation and then there's always the "Family Duties" to attend to which adds to the "Backlog" !

Anyone else suffering the same predicament, it's beginning to get a wee bit frustrating now ?

Sadly yes. I’ve got a few things I’ve not got round to scoping up, a DRS which needs an hp plenum fitting and tuning, an Omega that needs a rebuild and plenty of stuff still to collect from erichtfisherman, slug-gun and Perkins, plus some other shop down south. Oh, and an R10 mk2 to reseal.

it was getting into these kinds of mental deliberations (well that and a planned house move) that helped me decide I had too many, and maybe it was time to sell off a few...

    Not judging
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

Yes, had it for years now, for much the same reasons. At least the backlog of rifles needing fettling has shrunk just a tiny bit in recent times, although not by quite enough.

I retired, I had plan A for shooting, I had quite a collection of rifles suited to plan A & the future. I quickly found I don't have the time I thought I had & you catch catch up with lost days, time goes quicker than you think.

I have the same problem. I have a lot of guns, though not by the standards of this forum!
I have two PCPs, haven’t shot either of them in a year, can’t remember when I last shot my Diana Mauser K98 underlever. I suppose out of my 13 rifles there are 3 I shoot regularly, my 97KT, 80, and LGU. I have a load of pistols too that I hardly get out at all. I used to regularly shoot on another forum which gave me a reason to shoot most of them once a month, but left that group for personal reasons.
I should really think about moving the guns on but you get so little from an RFD these days

I’ve earmarked a range visit on Friday morning, now I have to determine what to take ?

I've also had this problem, more guns seem to come up for sale at this time of year (or maybe I have more time to look at sales threads ) Plus bad weather & short days makes getting out difficult.

Between Doncaster & last Sunday at my local range I managed to rectify the situation a bit, still desperate for more time at the range though.

Its the weather and dark mornings slightly more so than daily runarounds just now. Getting up and driving 25 miles in frosty/snowy conditions isn't the most tempting time of the year and even indoors in an unheated barn its no better. Like so many things, once you're there its enjoyable if you wrap up warm and take a flask of strong coffee !

For my part the round trip time to the range is a bit of a PITA, 45 minutes each way, so I tend to do that only once per week, but I have a target in the garage and can get six yards from the kitchen, so I use target rifles or pistols there three or four times a week. I find standing rifle a reasonable challenge at my time of life. Sometimes I put up a bell target I bought off the bay for a bit of fun.

    Only one

I only have one HW95L but I manage to shoot it several times a week from the back deck. Sometimes I can get my bride of 61 years to shoot "OUR" rifle but not always. She is an excellent shot but allows me to cock/load for her. We like to shoot reactive targets at about 25 yards
