I couldn't pick mine up on Saturday. I picked it up today. Number 75 I believe.
It's got a lovely stock on it, needs oil at some point.

Ooh - what’s the 2 letter code at the end of the serial number?
    And calibre?

Did we ever discover just how many walnut versions they're were available, initial rumors were 100 I think ?

I thought it was 200. One of mine is 0159, but I’m eager to see if Neil does have a 75. I think I picked up from elsewhere the last 2 letters on the s/n relate to a production month code. But that may of course be bullocks.

    Very strange !
Wouldn’t get too excited though, it’s only their standard air rifle page with two pics, one walnut and one beech stocked and basic info.
It’s now appearing via my iPad, so I wonder if someone on here has picked up the posts - or else coincidence of course. If they do read this - lots more info and detailed pics please…!

200, interesting to know, sounds as though most of those are sold by now.
I think I’ve only heard of one person buying a beech.

Reason I’d like to know if Neil has a s/n 0075 is….so do I - my other one (.177). Which is why I’m interested if the letter month coding, if that’s what it is, comes into play. Or if BSA screwed up.

So the last two letters do seem to make a difference…

I guess what we don’t know is if BSA are stockpiling beech ones at the same time as making walnut, and that the serial numbers reset to ‘zero’ (or one) at the beginning of each month. These number formats seem to be different to their previous springers?

Have you given that stock a nice, loving oiling now, Neil? I can see the happy picture in my mind......

    Not touched it yet.
Going to shoot it next week, then take the stock off and oil it.
It can harden whilst we're away for a week at the end of the month.

It'll be nice to hear your views once you've had a play with it, Neil.

Where's your next trip to, then?
