If you shoot them in the head at 15 yds, the pellet will not make much difference.
Use the most accurate with your gun.

Afternoon, do any of you have a preference on hades or heavy JSB’s?
I use .22 and I’m getting around 11.2 FPE with heavy, around 11 with hades and slightly quicker..
I generally shoot rats and squirrels at a max range of 10-15 yards and I’m wondering if the extra weight behind the 18gr would be better for punching through squirrels or if the hades will perform equally?
Both pellets are very accurate at 20 yards, with the one being slightly more powerful with likely better penetration and the other being quicker and likely penetrating less, what would you choose?

Daystate MK3 R .177 - MTC Viper 3-12 x 44
Daystate Wolverine R .177 - MTC Viper valour 6 - 24 x 50
Air Arns Ultimate sporter R .177 - MTC Copperhead 4 -16 x 40
Personally, I would use hobbys at that range.

Or the crosman flats.
My .22 is garbage with the heavy's but pinpoint with Hades.
Mind you at 10-15 yds I'd be using the .25 anyway.
Just use the most accurate. Heavies, Hades or Flats would all go straight through the head at that range anyway.

The answer has already been given - the most accurate in the rifle concerned.
I did not find the Hades expanded in either sub or FAC.
I do like the JSB predators but that's .177 where close range can be an issue with over penetration.
But its worth bugger all if it doesn't group
In a battle of wits I refuse to engage with an unarmed person.
To one shot one kill, you need to seek the S. Kill only comes from Skill
