about 30ft/lbs give or take and it depends on your police authority
For a 1st ticket you may well be restricted.
Mine (Air) was open but I could demonstrate a lot of shooting experience
Are the rules for airgun fac the same that apply rimfire certifcates, or are they open licences i.e you can take them on any ground that you have permission on and does not have to be approved by the police first.
OH and just a quickie, what power could I take my AAps upto and keep it as accurate as it is now.
Thanks

Do you think the extra power (30 lbs) would affect the recoil.
What are you using Deano?

No recoil but a slight increase in muzzle flip. Not huge. Much above this OR a lighter rifle muzzle flip becomes an issueOriginally Posted by Deano1

are we talking about a 30 F/Lbs PRO SPORT?????
would have thought tops on that would have been 18-20F/lbs.
ROB
but a 30F/Lbs pro sport does sound rather nice give the eliminator a run for her money LOL

If it says 15 on the site don't go over that.
Don't want the rifle coming back at you.
Forget 30ftlbs from a Pro Sport, even the Pro Elite won't hit that !
I'm telling you it moved!
If it does, it would a horror to shoot. Kick like a mule it would.Originally Posted by stevew71

i think gary might have miss understood the AAps to mean a slightly different rifle from the AA stable
but the PS is the same as the TX NOT the pro elite (which can go over 20F/lbs)
around the 18F/lbs should be the max you would be able to get out of it COMFORTABLY, though cocking effort is a lot harder!!!!
personaly think it would be better to keep the pro sport as is and get an FAC TX200
dont forget as a general rule once an FAC always an FAC so if you get the PS uped you wont be able to take it off
All FAC (rimmies/centrefire/airguns) are only aloowed to be used on land passed for FAC use.
hope this helps you out a little

Sorry chaps didn't pick up on the "ps". Unless you are well built I think I'd be going PCP at 30ft/lbs, but some people do swear by the biggies. There's a dual cocking rifle by Theoben (Magnum ?) that's a beast.
Baz is your man for FAC springers
