    Hi all
I rather fancy getting myself the above rifle, they don't come up for sale on here very often.
Those that have one, what are your thoughts on your gun?.
    Any info would be appreciated.
    Regards

Best springer I've shot out the box and better than many rifles I've shot too that have had drop in kits in them.

Ridiculously easy to be accurate with them if you do your bit. I've heard the .177 is better than the .22 but I've only shot the .177

Mine did start to buzz a bit so I added a ptfe liner, it was also a little low on power giving 10ftlb so I added a small washer to get it to 11. I'm hoping as it runs in I'll end up removing it.

In you are in the market for a new springer, you won't go wrong.

Don't think they are quite that heavy.

The synthetic stocked one is about the same weight as an HW80.

The wooden stocked ones are heavier. The beech they use seems to be particularly dense. Not a bad thing though.

They are definitely an adult sized rifle.

Well made, very accurate guns let down by a disappointing trigger, that you can learn to live with.

BAR has them at a bargain price at the moment - the Master Pro ones that is, which are the prettiest.

Best to try before you buy.

    Thanks for your advice Arthur
I have a P/E and Hw80 and like the big b/barrel rifles, I did have a fondle with one awhile ago and was impressed with the build quality and balance. The gun did not have a scope fitted so felt lighter than my P/e.

I bought my LGV Master Pro from Big Andy off of here. In .177. I well remember his comments that it was the best out of the box springer he'd owned, as he'd bought it brand new. After a morning's plinking with it I had to agree, as did anyone who tried it at the springer bashes I've taken it too. In fact, it has made my .177 pcp redundant.

    Hi capitalbee
I had a go with your one at the April bash and was most impressed with the way it shot..
That is the reason I want one myself .

Well then, go for it, Les.

The LGV is the most accurate out of the box break barrel rifle in 177 that I have ever shot.

Just wish I had bought mine with the Master Pro stock instead of the synthetic. That extra weight at the back, the near vertical pistol grip and the lovely high cheek piece must make it even nicer to shoot.

And, as I say, you will get used to the trigger.

Are Rowan doing triggers for these now ?
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

I had a look on Blackpool air rifle site( that you mentioned) and they are £325 that's a good price, I will have to add about £40 for postage and Rfd transfer to my local Rfd.

I thought the PE was 9.3 lbs and the competition Walt was 9.7 lbs

The cocking effort seems a bit high any real world figures?
