It's not Venom mate. It's off a Zephyr 77.
I messaged the guy to point that out last night actually (and no, he doesn't have the matching 77 Zephyr action).

Here's what I messaged the guy:
That's not a Venom stock. It's from a Zephyr 77, which was a collaboration between John stevens of the Airgun centre in Essex, Ben taylor of Theoben, and Paul rodgres of Customstock.
It's very nice, and rare, but it's not anything to do with Venom.
If you still have the Zephyr 77K action, it seems a real shame to split such a desirable and valuable gun.
Hope this helps.

"..it does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds.."
I did wonder thats partly why I posted on here....I thought if its not a venom somebody on here will correct it.

Zephyr 77
Totally agree. Here's mine. Much better together than split!

I see, Theoben were involved. So was it called the Zephyr after their "Zephyr" piston seal?
WANTED: Next weeks winning lottery numbers :-)
Ah yes, the implausible 'grooves in the piston face' which were supposed to channel air more efficiently into the transfer port which would somehow make up for the lost volume they cause. Because you know, if you compress air, sometimes it moves away from areas of low pressure to those of high pressure. It's funny like that.
