Academic now, as he has taken it as is. Still interested in answers, however, as I have another in .22 which I may want to sell one day, too.
.
Evening my fellow Airgun Anoraks. I currently have a pre-war slant grip MK.I pistol in .22 up for sale in the sales section, and have an acquaintance of old who is interested but not committed as he wanted one in .177.
So to my question. What are the chances of finding a vgc period aged MK.I barrel in .177 for sale, if I found such a beast how much should said barrel set me back, and how easy would it be to change the barrels over (in truth I only have rudimentary gunsmith skills).
Then, in turn, would there be any demand for selling the .22 barrel on for a similar figure to that paid for the .177 barrel? Oh, and lastly, is it all really worth it? Thoughts please my fellow collectors, as this may (only may, however) be an avenue I go down for the sake of my mate?
Cheers all: Gareth.
Ps. I would ask our I. J. to help, but he is probably far too busy ???
