you you are right... maybe tweaking the stroke is about as far as you can go with tuning, or changing the weight of a top hat.. ONce you start sleaving, short stroking, making new pistOn heads etc, it's definitely re-engineering![]()
Just out of curiosity why do we call this work "tuning"?
Tuning is tweaking the existing power plant so that it runs smoother or more efficient.
What we actually do is totally customise and re-engineer.
Like dropping a V6 into a Ford Fiesta or probably more like fitting a Tesla power plant into a DB9!!
