    Have a look at this Scottish all steel pistol, it doesn't appear to be made by John Blisett who signed the lock on all the pistols made by him in Birmingham what is your opinion of the flintlock pistol is it a none firing replica been offered as an antique Scottish all steel pistol.
    It should be signed on the top of the barrel Royal Scottish Regiment which it is not and no visible proof marks either.

    The 18th century style description seems like it may be a copy of an original rather than a reproduction which would have proof marks.
    The estimate also is very low for something like this. The price of an original would make your eyes water!
