Picked the above scope up earlier this year and asked for advice on here about re-paralleling it for air rifle ranges. Well the adjustment couldn’t be much easier to do, the lens was easy to turn, but I had to do it a few times to get it right for me. Now the focus is super sharp from around 10 yards to 35 yards. I wanted to get 26mm steel mounts for it which proved much harder. In the end I picked up these Valmet one piece steel mounts which cost a fortune, but are worth it to complete the project 80’s Rifle Scope and mounts. Any one else on here adjust period centre fire scopes to be used on their air rifles?

I've got the 8x45 champion, a mate found at birtley car boot a few years ago for me for £20 with steel centrefire mounts on it, now on fully adjustable mounts, Mines a bit tatty with the blacking well worn but the glass is superb, by far my best scope & bargain priced one.
