Webley eclipse trigger sear not engaging

With the spring in place the cooking leaver goes all the way back to the trigger housing. Incidentally it activates the safety but does not cock the trigger.

Wear on the cocking lever linkage, or the hole the roll pin runs in, or the cocking link that hits the piston could be worn out make the piston not go far enough back to engage the sear.

you can carefully file the cocking slot in the cylinder for the piston to go further back.

I'm still getting nowhere with this, really puzzled. Everything seems in good condition.

Just had the same problem with an Eclipse this week, Stripped trigger and no problems inside so just tightened the trigger screw a touch and its fine again now. Col.
