    SOLVED: Walther LP3 seized piston

Acquired an otherwise good condition LP3.

The piston is stuck at the top of travel. No obvious corrosion anywhere.

Can anyone advise on how best to remove?

I see two screws holding the cylinder in place but does removing these free the cylinder or does the valve assembly need removal too?

    Thanks.

    To answer my own question:

Soaked in Bilt Hamber Ferrosol for a couple of hours, then a gentle but firm pull brought it out. Piston and seal appear unmarked.

    Now the work begins...

I had to look up Bilt Hamber Ferrosol.
Upgrade of WD40 from what I have read.

Well done on retrieving your piston intact.
    Repariere nicht, was nicht kaputtist.
