I am going to stay in Mid-Devon for a couple of weeks and I just wondered if anybody knew of cylinder testing places around that area?

unfortunatly JR services has closed its door's.
Ok well after some investigation, the only test centre near mid Devon is Now Teign Diving in Teignmouth.
Seems that when JRS shut they bought his complete set up as the only other Devon test sites are in Plymouth.
Along similar lines, my neighbour has a couple of dive bottles. He hasn't used them for years so I suspect they need testing. at the moment they are cluttering up MY shed.
Do they have any value for airgunners as they are? Is it worth getting them tested???
Any info welcome.
Thanks for your answers, I guess I might be planning a trip to Teignmouth.
What pressure are they & what valve is fitted surface or sub-surface ?
Imho an old sub-surface valve is of no use/value, a 230bar cyl is of next to no use, or value, unless it has a surface DIN valve.
a 300bar cyl with a surface valve, might be worth having tested provided the outside looks good, but if it's obviously had a hard life, it might not be.
May be of interest Sandford Down at Plymouth are good. I got my bottles done there this year, knowledgeable guys and turnaround time is good... Details below...

We supply them oxygen cleaning liquid so they know me but a cylinder service (mine were out of date) and refill was £50.00. A refill isn't that much and they are good guys there.
Hope it helps.
