    Thumbs down BSA volumetric mod

What a piece of poo ....tried a volumetric mod (I wouldn't call it a silencer) on my S10 carbine and what a piece of poo(yes I typed it again) it made fitting it pointless so I went back to a 1/2" unf barrel adapter and a decimeater mod .....looks as though the carbine and the .177 full length ones are having to be screwcut...

Not that bad on the lightning i find. Not so good on the Superten but that said other factors come into play with both spring & pcp

Can you get inside it to swap out the baffles for something more effective ?

Dampening springer muzzle blast does not require much of a moderator, almost any empty volume with a front baffle does a decent job.

Bought a logun ccfc mod from Chambers works much better I swapped the volumetric mod on my first s10 out for an early logun and that worked a treat .....this one's carbon fibre and slightly longer (quieter too)
