    Vector Veyron 4-16X44

    Hi Guys,

Just got myself a new scope for my Wolverine R.

After having a 6-24X56 scope on it, that felt like something Patrick Moore would have been proud of,
I wanted something smaller and lighter to make it more paintable while standing.

I have been swapping my scopes out for 4-16X44 models, as I really don't need the massive magnification
    of the larger scopes.

After getting 2 MTC Copperheads in 4-16X44 for my other rifles, I decided to try another manufacturer
    for my next scope purchase.

Enter the Vector Optics Veyron 4-16X44FFP.

Small scope, Just over 270mm long and just over 500G in weight, so light enough to make a noticeable difference
in weight on the Wolverine. Optics are really bright and clear right across the magnification range.
The turrets are lift to click and although not lockable, they are resettable once you have sorted
    out your Zero.

If I have to find fault, then the Focus and parallax rings are a bit stiff and the reticule is really quite fine at
lower magnification, but other than that it's a really great value scope if you are after something that doesn't
make your gun look like something out of 'The Stars at Night".

Should I buy another scope it's going to be one of these,
At the moment my favourite scope is the Optisan EVX 4-16x44F1 I've got a pair, but the price of those has shot up,
so a cheaper scope of the same spec will be spot on.

I have just fitted the SFP version to a HW100 and the quality of the glass is very impressive. Focuses well even at 10m on full mag, I love the honeycomb sunshade it's much more convenient for me than a tube extension type. It is compact in lenght but a bulky scope in diameter though, with the lens covers on the objective end measures nearly 60mm meaning higher mounts than most other 44mm scopes.
