    Recommendations for a chronograph

    Hi guys and girls

Any recommendations on a reliable chronograph?

I've been away from shooting for the past 10 years and would love to get back to it. I used to have a Combro chronograph, but for some reason I can't seem to find one for sale anymore.
I've also been checking out Nate Chrony V2, seems good, any of you guys got one?

I have an FX chronograph and it has issues with short barrelled rifles, SO after a lot of research I bought an LMBR instead. These are used to test the rifles at HFT national shoots, cannot go wrong. skan chronographs are unavailable for now due to family issues according to the skan site or that would be a joint contender for the LMBR. Good luck with the purchase.

    I have four now.
My Caldwell has always been my go to.
I bought a cheap Chinese one as it worked under florescent lighting and was cheaper than illuminating my Caldwell.
On my new smart phone, there is no headphone socket to record shot strings.
I bought another Chinese chrono with WiFi.

All three record the same if you line them up, well within an fps or two.
    Repariere nicht, was nicht kaputtist.

My old Chrony F1 keeps soldiering on but when the time comes to replace it, the one I most favour would be the LMBR.

Ive had a combro mk4 for around 10 years and its worked great, but bought a LMBR about 2 years ago as it was more suited attachment-wise to some of my guns than the combro. they are both good products

Depends how & when it's to be used; inside, outside, only after maintenance or as a matter of course when "plinking".

Personally I'd avoid any with a tight aperture that are purely for workshop bench testing, or any that attach to the rifle,
I use Pro-chrono - digital V frame type because it's simple to put on a tripod & shoot through, while zeroing or just plinking, testing multiple rifles & saving the data (9 x 99 shot memory)
However what works for me might be completely wrong for you.

Sounds like a LMBR chrono a good choice.

I bought a ac5000 some time ago, About £30+ quid , Apparently for bb guns but think pellet / bb ammo are classed as the same in some countries. You gotta be quite close as the window is small compared to my old skan plus it ftps but it works great, Got batteries in mine so you can take it out with you if needed. I weren't expecting much but I've never had a failed reading at all. Must admit I use the skan as my go to one but thought I'd mention it. Anyone else used the ac5000,

Considering a LMBR myself to replace my old F1 Chrony
