That would be lovely, John, but I doubt I'll be that lucky.....back to my usual days off next week, Tuesday and Wednesday and the range is closed on a Tuesday. But, not saying a definite "no" yet....

I'd forgotten how good this rifle is. I pulled it out yesterday to check it over and have a few shots in readiness for next week's Bash.

Straight out, no warm up shots, two tiny pellet sized holes comprising of five shots each with the Jumbo RS. Now, admittedly, 14 yards isn't exactly the sternest test, but I was just sat, not resting, and not particularly taking ages in the aim. It's the absolute ease with how it delivers the accuracy that impresses. That quick but not harsh cycle, sublime trigger and heft all help.

In all the time I've had it it's not loosened a single fastener. It was just those cheekpiece posts to glue on at first. After that, perfect.

I LOVE this rifle. Bargain of the century.

Today I collected one rifle and am waiting on delivery of a second which according to the tracker is in the depot ready for delivery.
This morning I collected a new TX200 .177 standard length with walnut stock. Looks soooooo beautiful (!)
Hopefully Monday I will receive a Prosport .177 bought from Hsing-ee on this forum. Also hopefully I will be able to grab that one before my wife notices as she only knows about the TX200.
This sort of subterfuge isn’t so easy when your wife is a shooter.

Have fun with the AM 03 at the Bash Tony. I ended up using Express, RS and FTT 5.53 in mine at 25 metres. Grouping was constant in all three brands at around 15mm with occasional Bulls. I also tried a few Hades a fellow Club member gave me which were very good too, basically JSB Jumbo with “dome notches”.
A smallish moderator of some kind may be a future purchase.

Nice to hear you had a nice time with yours again, John. They do seem to be very accurate with a wide range of pellets. A sign of excellent barrel quality and overall integrity? Mine continues to impress.

    Naughty man!

Congratulations on your purchases and I hope you manage to sneak the PS in without being rumbled! As you say, certainly trickier when she is a shooter herself!

    Absolutely, Les; no problem.

Expect.....stout cocking, solid weight, nicely balanced, brilliant trigger, quick action, minimal sight picture disturbance and easy accuracy.
