    Re Kempton,

Here's a link to pics from the last show.

You'll see items catering for almost all pockets and tastes. There were some incredibly rare pistols on offer, including variations I have not seen in some 40 years of collecting. There were more modest items too and I could have spent my allocated budget many times over, just at this one event.

I left the fair with 4 pistols, which I was delighted with.

Currently looking for Baikal Makarov pistols with the following prefixes to the serial number: 98, T01,
Prefer boxed or cased but will consider loose examples too.

My ten cents worth, haggle the price down to £300, unlikely to find one cheaper than that at Kempton, but what do I know.

A trip to Kempton is always worthwhile even if what you’re chasing doesn’t turn up. No doubt the one on offer will still be available after the show and the seller may even agree to hold it for you pending your decision.
A lot of the pleasure we get from collecting often centres around the search and subsequent research regarding our latest additions, but as warned earlier it can become addictive.
