Hello all,

I was recently given a couple of guns by my Granddad and have very little information about them.

I have had another post regarding an old lever arch rifle answered in great detail and I was hoping someone into his pistols might be able to do the same for me?

The air pistol I have been given has very few identifiable features but here's the list:

On the top of the barrel near the site are the words "THE LINCOLN AIR PISTOL"
One side of the barrel is marked "BEST ENGLISH MAKE"
On the handle/grip base there is the number "605"
On the top of the handle/grip near to the locking leaver there is the number "605"
On the opposite side to this number is "Patt No 181277"

I hope someone can shed some light on this lovely little pistol?

Thanks in advance

James
