Hi! My name is Jim and I am new to this forum.

I am interested in purchasing a magnum springer. After reviewing and comparing specs. and user reviews, the BSA Super Sport with a BSA 3-12 x 40 scope is what shakes out. I would be using the gun for field targets, varmint control and possibly limited squirrel hunting. I have compared RWS, Gamo, Beeman and BSA. I understand that Gamo bought-out BSA, but the Gamo falls short of the BSA in the reviews. My second choice would be a RWS 36 or 350. I like the lighter weight of the BSA and user reviews are almost a consistent 10.

BSA rifles seem to have limited distribution. I have only found a few web sites that sell them in the USA and no local retail sellers.

I would be interested in comments on my selection.

Thank you.
