Hi all.

Finally got my hands on a mint condition 45 SS, and it seems like it's barely had 20 shots through it, judging by the random dieseling, and the perfect condition of it.

It's a .177 cal, and the fps varies between 450 and 470, with occasional 580-630's!! With RWS Superdomes at 8.3 gn, this equates to 3.7 to 4 ft/lb's.

Those really high ones are always accompanied with a large pop, and occur infrequently. I put those down to obvious dieseling of factory lubes in the piston chamber.

Now, although Weihrauch's own manual states that it takes "hundreds" of shots to bed in, has anyone else experienced almost a whole ft/lb under, during bedding in?

I'm still holding judgement until things settle down proper, but still interested in other users opinions and experience with their 45's.

Thanks for any thoughts.
