I must admit to being partial to the small Simmons 1-5x20 myself. I am saving mine for my Sport which is currently away on holiday having a new stock made. Hopefully she will be back with me for the weekend in June. Dont you just love classic guns? It is probably a sign of our age, but they definitely do appear to have more character than even modern quality springers such as a new Weihrauch for example. Not sure about the Walther myself!

Right, I am off to the garage.....

The underl lever BSF was the 54 and built like a brick out house. The model 70 was, basically, a longer barrelled 55 (60) with a walnut stock.
Ive got one Andy if you want to play.
