I picked up an early BSA Improved Model D cal .177 Lincoln Jeffries patent air rifle, from the Bisley Arms fair today.

Serial number is No 29577, not sure if this is 1909 or 1910, could be late 1909 or early 1910 is there any way to tell?

From what I can tell it looks all original but I am no expert.

Missing one screw which is annoying, see the pic below:

Does anyone know where I can find a replacement screw? I did have a look on John Knibbs Airgunspares and there is only parts
for BSA Standard rifle (Lever Axis Screw Part No: STD37) which doesn't look like it will fit Improved model D.

Also does anyone know of "How to Guide" to take apart Improved Mod D as I would like to check the internals, give it a clean as well as Molly paste treatment?

Can't wait to give it a blast down the club.

Many Thanks.
