Musings on older airguns & Parts
I recently replied to a thread on here asking for a valuation on a Bsa Scorpion pistol.
I suggested a price of £75 ? It had a .177 barrel & Cocking aid
My question is , Is this realistic ( I see he has dropped the price )
I have a number of these & Have just put these together , IE new buffer washer & O ring, One complete with sights, I am not asking for a valuation but would swap with cash for a Webley Senior .

I have had quite a few leaving me with some spares,
I sold 3 .177 Barrels a couple of years ago for £25 each posted ( Which I thought a fair price )
I also sold 2 Trigger units complete at £20 posted.
We all know the price of spares from Chambers/Knibbs Etc, But sometimes we need them .
I started to sell some Scorpion items the Forums did not want on the Bay.
As an Example : A pistol stock made £32 + post Rear sights £25 + Etc.
A trigger unit from Mr Knibbs is £75 !!!! Sights are mostly unavailable, Breech washers ? Well
you know where I am going .
It has been mentioned on here & Other forums that Older airguns no longer command a " Reasonable " price,
I too think the price of guns like Mercury,s Webley Mk111s & many others are hardly worth selling, & Yet try to buy a set of sights, Or a stock , But parts are .
I know the cost of postage is a big disadvantage to selling , But I do not think most members want them.
What do you think, Ged
