BiPods..
Just a quick post on my first experience with bi-pods.
When I was shooting rabbits I could never do the prone position as a bit of metalwork in my back. When I stopped hunting and joined a club, I'd use a bean bag type rest which worked for springers and pcs's just fine.
We recently moved and joined a lovely new club, but you have a bit of a walk from the car park to the range. It was - tbh - not possible to hike all this stuff up there.
So the nice guy who runs the club (with his wife) suggested bi-pods.
We had them fitted and all I can say is what a revelation they have been. I hate the aesthetics' - but of course you can remove them - but we're both hitting stuff beyond what we were. Can't see any way for the springers tho....
Anyway - wish I'd used them before!
