Which way to proceed?
I put a thread on some weeks back regarding a air rifle left to a friends widow.
I have been provided with a lot of info, members seem to believe that it is a 1907 BSA Lincoln Jeffries / Long Tom model, 0.177 under lever air rifle.
It has a straight stock with a 'duck bill' cocking lever, most probably a 'standard' model made between Feb to March 1907
I have had opinions ranging from £100- to £250-00 and have seen a similar model on a auction site at about £1K
I'm at a bit of a quandary as to how to proceed with disposing of the rifle for the widow for the best price?
Can any member recommend the best way to proceed?
Thanks
