Found myself a set of .22 diana lp8 magnums on egun. Theyre quite rare to find. Not made long I think. I already have the LP8 in 4.5 as well as the Tactical (with stock) in 4.5.
One of the .22s was literally all over covered in oilTo preserve? I may have to disassemble to clean it out.
Even the box it came in was oilstained. And on 1 an idiot tried to paint in the diana logo at the back with blue ink have to sort that too. Its already better now ( brakecleaner).
One Im gonna keep as a pistol one is gonna be converted to carbine with a Rink shoulderstock. Takes few months to get that stock though, they are made to order.
First results with the .22s. First one still very slippery despite degreasing the grip multiple times. It didnt diesel but slowburned and smelled like hell and gave some whitish scum at barrel end and transferport. Prob oil. After quite some shots it started to group. The other one shot like crazy really. Smallest group I ever shot with a springpistol. 4 shots, literally 1 hole. I checked the pistols barrel several times to check there wasnt a pellet stuck in there. But I already knew from the results with the Tactical at 25m these are amazingly accurate. As you look closer this hole is shiny too ( oil). But Ill keep it as is as it shoots so well.
Shot 2 handed about 5 yards. Jsb exact and jsb rs. Last group is 10 shots with regular jsb.
