Where on the gun would most of you use it? Just cleaning or for any lubrication requirements?

I've just ordered some Abbey Silicone Gun Oil 35 from our sponsors. This has served me well for many, many years (wiping down, waterproofing, proofing against finger marks etc.) and a small dropper bottle goes a very long way and lasts me for years. But the Ballistol has always intrigued and it isn't expensive, so I added it to my JSR order.
