Could this be an accuracy buster?
Mulling over my 'bitza' 35, whether to sell it or not .. one issue is accuracy. I know it’s not run in yet but 4cm at 25 yards off a bench is No Good.
Looking over the stock prior to flogging it I found the stock had the steel spring that runs on the cocking lever stuck diagonally at the back of the cocking slot …
I checked the action and the spring was still attached to the stock bracket. So it must have come from the previous action. I pulled it out with pliers and it was very firmly embedded.
Could it have been causing accuracy issues by bearing on the cocking lever and putting inconsistent pressure on the piston?
I’m going to have to test it again aren’t I?
