Here you go, Tony. I got up early and made a start:
I mounted the smaller Williams to the 77. The height is perfect and has lots of adjustment left at my zero of 25 yards.
The foresight bead on this rifle just about covers the 50mm shoot'nsee discs at 30 yards, leaving a slight edge visible to line up on, so that's what I shot the groups at.
It handles a lot better than the factory HW unit I was using on this and looks to be pretty much as precise in use as the larger model - not that this .22 version will be used for much long range shooting.
I also got a few other 77's assembled before rain stopped play.
Still have a few more to assemble and then I have to dig out the optics and mounts and zero them all - but it's too warm for any of that, so for now I'm about to have a few quiet beers with the dog.
