Please can anyone help??

I've recently bought a superten bull carbine, after some teething trouble zeroing the scope all was well. I gave it to a mate to charge, removed mag and eased bolt forward and fired it dry as per my instruction sheet...(rifle was fine.)
I got the rifle back yesterday and today discovered it broken. The bolt was pulled back as if half cocked and the tip/pin part is gone...from what i can see it looks like it is jammed just inside the barrel.
Is it do-able at home, or is it a gunsmith repair??
If the former, could someone give me a step by step instruction list/guide on what to do? If the latter, can anyone recomend a quality gunsmith who isn't very expensive?

Many thanks in advance for all help,
Sean.
