I know this has been asked a million times but.....
Whats the best service for posting a Rifle?
Cheers Lee

Best to get a next day service as if not it's left at the sorting offices and depots and thrown about quite readily as said go for a next day (insured) delivery.
Zeb
Royal mail special delivery, next day normally and if you arent in you can turn up at the local sorting office to collect.
Unfortunatly, the only problems I had sending stuff when we sold sattelite kit, were with Parcell Farce
They used to regularly break things in transit.
I gave them up an only used city link as a courier, but they now don't take counter orders. You must have an account to use them, but there are others who will.
That's why I wanted to collect the HW45 in person Lee

I've sent/received literally hundreds of airguns via RMSD and not had a single problem with any of them
I use RMSD for rifles too and never had any problem

I might let you have a go of my Steyr LG100HP if you're nice.....
(AND you still owe me a burger )
This might be a good bet for less value items. But notice the maximum insurance cover is £150. Not much use for most rifles or the more expensive scopes.Originally Posted by Easty
