I found the trigger on mine just fine, as long as the action was central in the stock, it's easy to get it slightly off centre and make the trigger feel gritty.
For the hammer/cocking action wet grease is a bit of a no-no, I took mine apart, cleaned and polished the hammer and inside of the cylinder and then relubed with a thin coat of dri-slide, polished off before refitting.

And that is what I am trying to do nowOriginally Posted by lightning22
I suspect you could button the hammer, while you were having that done you could have a delrin pip fitted to the striking face to quieten the hammer-strike as well.Originally Posted by loiner1965
I guess you could have one regged by one of the specialists, not sure if you'd have much space for air left though.

hi, im in the process of buying a falcon raptor .22 with a silencer and a pump, from a mate. its one of the early ones and he wants 350 pounds. ive agreed to pay this anybody think its to much? thanks wooly.
I just bought the same gun with the quickfill silencer and a free scope (which turned out to be a £130 Edgar Bros scope ) for £290....but that was a very good/lucky dealOriginally Posted by wooly797
With a pump I would say yours is a very good deal still
My Falcon trigger felt a bit "gritty", I took it apart and the problem in mine was caused by the trigger return spring. One end of the spring fits to the trigger, the other is free to slide on a steel block. The steel block was quite rough so I polished it and the end of the spring with 1200 grit wet and dry and oil. The trigger is better though still not as good as it could be, I think it's just a poor design letting the spring slide like that.
thanks, thats put my mind at rest as i had already agreed the price with a very good friend and having seen some of the deals people get on this forum i was a little worried, i am now looking forward to colecting this gun. thanks.
on the hammer face it is threaded to accept the striker pin....any one do a delrin striker for these riflesOriginally Posted by lightning22

I'm sure one of the usual suspects could be persuaded.......Originally Posted by loiner1965

The reason why I am finding it a right pain in the chuff to remove the entire cocking bolt (with the loading probe being the main problem to remove) from the action is because my FN12 is a multishot raptor instead of the singleshot lighthunter.Originally Posted by rustynator
If anyone knows how to fully remove the cocking bolt/loading probe from a raptor, then some advice via a PM would be much appreciated
