Just a few years ago Hawke produced some of the direst scopes to ever grace a gun. The sidewinder was undoubtedly a bad joke foisted on us by marketing men who simply can't have shot a gun in their lives. The old airmax was a milk bottle bottom quality scope. Only the cheap Reflex stood out as a decent effort. These days they have removed their collective digits from their corporate bumhole and actually make some decent scopes. They have listened to shooters and actually taken advice from folk who know how to shoot an airgun. The SR range have one of the best reticles ever designed and have optics that are now perfectly useable. I know many well informed shooters who've opted for the SR6 over scopes at three or more times the price. I am one of them.
