Question Basingtoke Summer Sizzler 60 or 80 shot ?

Basingstoke Summer Sizzler has always been one of the highlights of the shooting year for me. The combination of Bob's evil target placement and 80 shot's made it not just a test of shooting skill but stamina as well.

There's talk of cutting it down to a 60 but this would spoil the event to me. Part of it's attraction has been it's 'marathon' proportions...

So if you'd like to see the sizzler stay an 80 shot... vote !

If you think 80 is too much and 60 would be better... vote !

Hopefully the outcome of this vote will have some influence on Bob and the Basingstoke crew...

    Regards

    Are we allowed to re-fill?

    If so, 80 for me

Yep it's usually split with a short lunch break / time for a refill.

This is such a great shoot/venue/people.

I'd still - of course - go if reduced to 60 but has to be said that the challenge of 80 shots does make it extra special; hence my vote/support (but very aware that I'm neither setting it up, taking it down, nor running the day).

I'd love to do the full 80 shot, never having done it before, but if its 60 - so be it, I'm still going to give that Blackscale a thumping

    Missing This

I'd love to go to this but my thoughtless Aussie mate has got me a ticket to Wales Vs Australia in Cardiff that weekend, so I wont be anywhere near my rifle.

    Maybe next year

    Keep it 80 shots!
