I use cigarette filters about 60p for 150.
Common sense is becoming so rare these days, it should be considered a superpower
Could use swan filter tips. Iknow someone who uses them, says they work if You get the right size. Damn sight cheaper too!
Great minds think alike
I'm no great mind, just a skinflint
Cheapskate tip No2: Instead of buying chalk disc targets use trebor mints. They are bio degradable and they taste nicer too
For non smokers best fiter tips are:-
.177 swan slimline
.20 zig zag slimline
.22 zig zag regular
When using filters it is advisable to remove your silencer, they can be a right b@gger to try and shake out if they catch on a baffle.

My local gun shop sells these for £2.50 in .22 and .177.
I use them Put a pellet in first then a wad. Finaly put a pellet behind. As for putting oil on the wad everyone I know always advise don't put oil down the barrel it could cause deiseling.
Lead is a natural lubricant anyway.
just got some of these. my gun was shooting all over the place. i thort the barrel needed cleaning and i was right. i did soak 2 in oil and fired about 6 in total. seems to have done the job. mine cost just under a fiver tho
Filter tips.. why didn't i think of that... brilliant idea !!!
i'm off to the shop to go and get some now.... so whats the general consensus on adding oil ??
Thanks for the great tip (no pun intended!) guys, i knew there was a reason i joined this BBS.
