Crosman 140 - safety switch -wossit like?
I brought an old crosman140 from an antuques shop a couple of months ago, but ut was in a bit of a state, but nothing I couldn't fix.
I was having a little trouble with how things were put together, so I brought another one from here, hopign it would have a full safety catch.
All there seems to be is a half circle that you couldn't turn with your fingers.
(Looks a bit like a "D", and is about 1mm high & next to the trigger)
I have a feeling that there was a lever that sat over the top of the "D" that people loose.
Does anyone know what they really look like.....or even have a piccy?
Cheers,
Elliot

Elliot, I've e-mailed you a pic' of the complete safety piece. The same item was used on later Crosman 140, 160, 180, 400, & 1400 models.
May be hard to find one...or you can decide to live unsafely!

Thanks guys.
Fantastic picture Don,
Right on the button.
And it was just as I thought....a little teardrop lever that plugs onto the "D".
Chambers Gunmakers don't seem to have that little bit in their list of items.
Gonna have to see what I can do.
Thanks for your help guys.
Elliot
