The words may have changed a bit but they are showing only legal air pistols and rifles in the video clip.
Still not good enough, second call made.
Just rang myself after watching the report on BBC News 24, which the beeb are saying "self contained gas cartridges" have been banned (no mention of springers, pcp, co2, pump-ups etc...).
In my mind a self contained gas cart is a co2 bulb???
The lass who answered the phone said she never heard of TAC's as has confirmed she will pass on the CORRECT info asap.
Also read the above link to the beeb website which is now saying 90% of the banned air guns haven't yet been accounted for.

these are specifically ruled out in the Act and accompanying guidance - the Act is the source of the "self contained gas cartridge" wording, which has caused a lot of confusion. other confusion has come from a few police press releases and journalists misinterpreting/ failing ot understand the information.Originally posted by Davestate

I have had two apologies from BBC online for their initial reversal of the 10% / 90% figures.
Well done everyone who's bothered to phone/emails. They really do take more notice of a few "real" people calling, as opposed to hacks like myself.
Mike Eveleigh of BASC now due on 5 live at 5.20pm, not 5.30.
Phone in and email support welcome.
