could someone explain to me what the adjustable cone does at the end of my mk3barrel and how is it best set up?

strips turbulant air from around pellet giving better accuracy once set up properly

There are a few discrepancies about still air cones and ar stripper come muzzle flip compensators. Some say a 12fpe air rifle does not generate enough energy to make the pellet flip due to the air exiting the barrel behind it. I have tried a Steyr LG100 and an EV2 with and without an air stripper, and it made no difference to accuracy.
Properly set up, if you want to do it... It should be between an eighth to quarter of an inch from the end of the barrel. ATB. Neil.

thanks for the advice but how do you know that it is adjusted to its optimum this one runs on the internal thread inside the shroud of a mk3
