There are some stalls which take swipe cards, but most don't. However, there are cash dispensing machines around the site, the only snag being that IIRC there is a £2 handling charge which is OK if you're taking £100 out but not so good if you want less.

wHAT TIME DOES THE FAIR OPEN FOR THE PUBLIC??
The site is open almost continually for campers to arrive, etc, but the stalls tend to keep normal shop type hours,ie, 9-ish to 6-ish.

Cheers for that will I be able to find any crosman bits???
John Knibbs and Chambers specialise in spares and they are usually at the Gamefair mate so you've got a chance. If they haven't got the parts there they'll probably be able to order them for you.

Could you possibly pass up the opportunity to meet all the known faces (names , signatures ) of the bulletin board? I'll go around looking for people with big signs on my back saying "I'm Micky Spillane, talk to me" I wouldn't miss this event if I'd won the lottery (if I had i'd buy the lot)Originally posted by bedlam
Is it just me or is the midland over rated ?
I went last year to show my terriers and have a chat with the lads, but i still found it a bit boring.
The airgun bit was ok but nothing to write home about.
