hi Tyke
were in leeds are you. if your anyway near pudsey . call in
and i will chrono it for you
This seems right to me, but I will run it past you guy’s for your opinions.
I am trying to find out my pellets velocity without a chrono. If I put in all the other information I have i.e. pellet type, zeroing distance etc and I adjust the velocity until the graph shows the same drop at 10 yards (I have ¾” low) as I have found at the plinking range will it give me an approximately right answer.
**PHEW**
I think it should give me a nearish answer but then again I am probably wrong.

Hi Mark
I am over in Beeston thanks for the offer. Its just my minds been playing with my head and I thought I would check it here (the theory not my head).
I will have it checked at the Hunter F.T. at Readferns on Saturday anyway.
Cheers Steve.
hi Steve
no worries mate anytime
hi Steve
you have pm
Tyke.
If you've got all the figures (scope height, pellet type and weight and the measured drop at a given distance) there is the "No Chrono" option under the "Extras" menu. This is pretty accurate, but I'd strongly recommend measuring a pellet drop at a longer distance than 10 yards.
This is no substitute for running the rifle over the chrony though. I'll have mine with me at Redfearns over the weekend (just in case the battery's flat in DWB's).
Paul.
Thanks Paul, I will have it checked on Saturday. When I enquired I think my mind was in overdrive but Iam all right know.
Ill have to go now matrons here and she dosnt like me talking to normal people.
