    Tracker Barrel weight removal?

I fancy fitting a Prosystem silencer, I think that they are the right period, but first how do I get the weight off?

    Thanks Ora

    Hi Ora.
You slide the muzzle weight back towards the loading tap
and this will reveal an o-ring on the muzzle of the barrel, just
remove the o-ring slide the weight forward to remove.

If I remember right, you pull the weight towards the rear of the gun about 20mil this should then expose an O ring. Pull this off and then slide the weight off.

I've had a pull at the weight, it's going to be one big haul to move it back 20mm!!!

I may look at moding my spring compressors end stop

They can be tough to move sometimes. As I recall there are two O rings inside and they might have 'set'. Try a gentle twisting movement as you pull at it (I've heard that phrase before somewhere)

Try a squirt of WD40 to lubricate the O rings.
