I had the BBMF short silencer and that stripped for cleaning and didnt have any felt washers at all, just alloy buckets.
Not sure about the BBMF long silencers though
FOX-U
Both have a cap which simply unsrews, but why do you need to clean it? (I asume it's being used on an airgun)
FWIW, my short one had felt washers in it, but the long one just had plastic baffles.
cheers for the replies, got it to bits, as you say Doobin they unscrew, mines the short it has ally baffles with felt inserts.
Its going on my rimmy so will get dirty, can you buy replacement felt bits ??
cheers

Tested it compared to the SAK moderator and its about the same
which is good as its shorter and a little bit lighter.

Surely you shouldnt use a silencer with felt inserts, on a rimfire, because of them being flamable?
Well Webley state there suitable for rimfire, but if it bursts into flames I geuss there not
I shall see

I use a short BBMF on a SGC V22 .22 SLR mainly with high velocity rounds and haven't experienced any problems.Webley do recommend them for rimfire in their catalogue.
