ben taylors outside cambridge has at least one in stock, its quite well balanced and didnt seem madly heavy.
pop in and have a chat with him, he's a good bloke.
Considering a Theoben SLR98 but I've heard they are very heavy. I can believe this as I once had a HW90 that I eventually sold because..... it was too heavy. On paper the SLR appears lighter than the HW90 but in the real world is there much difference ?
I would like to try an SLR but they appear to be made to order so nobody has one in stock, the Theoben shop has closed too so I'm a bit stuck really !! Also does anyone know if the SLR is available in .177 yet ??
Thanks for any help

You thought the HW90 was heavy, you should try a real gun.
Dave.
Thanks for that, how do they compare to your S410 weight wise ? (and performance if you know!) I'm currently shooting a 410 classic and it is a little front heavy. Weight is an issue for me because most of my shooting is done with NV
If you find the 410 a tad heavy, forget the SLR
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.
Best I get down the gym then 'cos there 'aint a lot lighter than a S410 !!
its alot hevier than the air arms
put a carbine cylinder on under the classic barrel, lovely weight distribution and looks like a proper gun. i did this from a carbine gun and added the longer barrel.
think you need to look at falcons as there aint much lighter than a 410
damm you persi
Great minds...... LOL !!
my s410 is now the nv gun, it does get heavy though and i cant get on with the cheater sling.
Reducing the weight of the NV may help and I'm looking at a scope system that is just 14oz, I will let you know if it works. My current scope is at least twice that at just over 2lb
