Super 10 or HW100 for long range

Which would be the better gun for long range shooting, the Super 10 or the HW100?

i got both in .177 the hw100 is a better gun (build quality), but i tend to use my super 10 rifle for all my long range work with a bi-pod fitted it seems to group slightly tighter than the hw100 at 40-45yards

    hw100 ,superten

hw100 over superten any day......accuracy of hw100 is far superior than that of the superten ,and at ranges well beyond 45 yds

What he said. I have a HW100 Mk 1 in .22 & the accuracy is absolutely spot on. I've taken down targets with 1in kill zones at 45 yards standing no problem. And that's just with me using it, in the right hands it would probably do much better at the same distance & beyond.

In my experience, it's all down to personal preference. The SuperTen is a very accurate rifle but I just don't get on with them. My HW100 on the other hand is everything I could want from a rifle albeit a little on the heavy side but that's just my humble opinion.

see if you can get hold of some shot strings showing you the velocity consistancy. it's not the only parameter but its surely a good parameter to search for if you are after long range air rifle. if you could get your hands on a Career Infinity it will be even cheaper than any of those you mentioned and besides that it shoots like a dream!.

In what ? 12ftlb or FAC
12ftlb I think both are good ,in FAC long range the BSA might have the edge, if its a JB blueprint then defo the BSA.

That hole is far to clean to be a round head pellet, and a wad cutter is not that accurate after 25mtrs so unfortunately imo this is unbeleivable.Sorry.

    What he said.

I have had both of these guns in various models and for me there is little to choose between them accuracy wise. You will always get people who prefer one over the other for various reasons but I would be very surprised if one showed a vastly noticeable degree of better accuracy over the other, when tested under the same conditions.

You should have looked closer at the target before you publicly questioned Peters integrity. Clown.
