Hi gang, looks like a dozen of us so far, a few more would be good
but it's enough to make it a fun day. (messy evening)

Ok we need your dosh now guy's, £6 payable to Paddy (PM him for details)

there are a few of us getting to coventry friday evening to save the drive first thing in the morning. so we will meet up for a drink. the Travelodge is 5 miles away and is doing rooms on friday night for £29 (room only) let us know if you will be coming Friday

if i may make a suggestion...avoid the travelodge...nowhere within walking distance to eat and its on a bypass.

get in at the travelinn and there is a restaurant and a few chippies and takeaways nearby.

i'll be at the greyhound club but i'll be shooting the ft lanes

Now you tell me booked travelodge last night, and it is £20 cheaper per night, so i'll have to eat & drink out and the £20 saved can cover taxi's.

Oh well such is life, cheer's for the heads up.

should have asked a local before you book,i'm only a mile from the travelinn and have booked mates into there before and the food is excellent.

Hi Eric, only Friday at the moment sort of playing it by ear, if the weather is ok I may pitch a tent, if it's not i'll book a second night may be at the travelinn. Just thought the friday night for £29 was pretty cheap.

The club itself opens at 9:00am. I have spoke to Jason about the start, we are thinking about 10:30am-11:00am, so people can travel down.

I will be there first thing & Jason is stopping the night before.


I shall speak to Jason & finalise our arrangements.

It would be good to know where the Saturday evening get-together will take place so I can book in there or maybe I'll book into the Travelinn so I can share a Taxi with Jason..
All of us that are booking somewhere for Saturday night ought to book the same establishment..might even get a group booking discount..lol!!

I think going on local advise the Travelinn is favourite as they do food so at least you can have breakfast sunday morning and the travelodge doesn't do food at all. Ok lets get an idea of who will being staying Saturday evening and so maybe we can get a group booking, state if your staying in a tent, caravan or hotel. look to save a few quid we might as well share rooms, 2 to a room £25 each cheap enough.

I was going to do it next week as wife and I are off to Rome early hours of Monday and won't be back until Saturday...
BTW...if we're sharing rooms....I'll share with Lynn......sorry Keith, you can share with Jason...
