Bloody hell, I didn't know he'd died!
A fine chap and as straight as they came, he was.
R.I.P. Dave.
I cant see a thread about Dave so thought I would put one on here
Dave was a member from just about day one, a great bloke, I bought quite a few things off Dave and everything was always as described
Met him a few times at various shows too, not sure exactly when he died but I think it was earlier this year
RIP Dave, you were one of the good guys

If you see my post on this thread about Dave L. -- it was so close to the loss of another BBS great and one who like me was in at the start of the early BBS days - ' Supermick'

Jeeze. It's not often I sign in around here these days, but it seems like each time I do, it has something to do with this section of the board.
I remember Dave well and had great respect for the guy. Always paid attention when he had something to say on here. Another stalwart has left the building.
RIP Dave, belated as it seems to be.

Gentlemen
I have been away from this wonderful forum for quite a few years. A friend of mine however just brought this thread to my attention.
You are referring to a gentleman with the name Dave Lancashire.
The connotation to his forum name DaveL is confusing me. Please tell me this thread is not referring to Dave Lankshear aka DaveL !

Man's curse is the thought that 'the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence'.
His forum name was Dave. and not DaveL , so not in fact Dave Lankshear.
Both "Dave" and "DaveL" seem to be alive and kicking in 2008.
