Mark 1 FWB Sport- left home.

    Well,
after taking my young nephew shooting for the last couple of months, I have let him have an early FWB Sport that I had here. Its mechanically good and shoots very well indeed, but could do with a complete makeover as they say
Felt like one of the kids leaving home though

Never mind- there is one more airgunner in the country now

I wouldn't let my son have mine
So I had to buy him his own Sport and Moonlighter scope and guess who had to pay for it?

    Thanks lads,
a little bit of me would like him to get used to shooting it accurately as I know the rifle is well capable of bettering both my nephew and me on that score, then if he so wished to get its polished, reblued and a nice CS5000 stock on it. Mechanically its in very good order and shoots very smooth indeed. In fact my nephew actually commented that there was something wrong with the new Diana 38 that I gave its first airing to last night. There was nowt wrong with the Diana, its just factory assembled and not in the same league as the FWB
I said if he ever went the way of restoring the rifle we would post before and after pics on here

    Cheers all,
    Dave
