    OK

Siobhan. Irresistible as young Spencer is, what with his good looks, charm and ready wit, give the chap a chance to concentrate for the morning.

The sound of him drooling last time was too awful for the rest of us to bear

Yes, but if you've got wind, don't tell her about it, people might object.

Fret not young Buxtedeer. Beth's message failed to reveal that they too managed just a singleton - and that Arnold () was perhaps 3-4 months old.

However, in her and the rest of the Hughes' army defence, I'm not too surprised that this was all the bunnies the shot - as there was Beth, her three brothers, her Mum, her Dad, plus two other very young kids and a spotty dog in tow. Wityh that bunch 'creeping' around, I'm a tad surprised that even the juvenile Arnold () decided to come out to play.

    That poor bunny

Still, at least I (and the kiddy winkles) know how to skin and gut a rabbit now thanks to Biggles doing the honours earlier today. cheers!

Bit late in the evening to be posting this, but I know there's always a few of you mad SIHFTers who are either insomniacs or peep in here first thing in the morning before the drive over to Swallows' halcion field.

As beth posted earlier, the course is set. Just hope the rabbits/squirrels dont go chewing their way through strings overnight.

Reckon this our best yet, with a surprise or two to catch out the unwary - specially if there's any breeze

We've been a-strimming (until the engine broke), but I'd remind ALL of you who have shooting mats (or just a spare bit of carpet - Wilton only, please ) to bring them on over.

And a final reminder - mentioned in the original comp thread in the banter-free zone - that we share the site with people fishing who are more highly valued by our landlord than us lot - and especially you lot !!

While not expecting Sunday Church-goer standards of control and reverential silence, I am very aware that it's difficult to avoid hooting with raucus laughter if your partner gathers doughnuts, or if they 2-point the wrong target. However we'd really appreciate tomorrow if you would keep this form of celebration to a muffled snigger

..... please do keep noise to a minimum.

Look forward to seeing ya'll in about 9 hours from now.
