Hi Paul,
Unfortunately I'll be missing this one.
We'll try and get more organised in future and look towards car sharing.
Good luck with the shoot

Thanks Paul for putting the scores up.
This was probably the best HFT shoot I've been to ... it just about had everything.
The Fort lads put on good courses ... this one had everything ...
Uphill shots
Downhill shots
Long ones
Short ones
Reducers
A shot through a hole in a tree trunk
Woodland shots
Meadow shots
A target in dark shadow hidden in bushes
Wind
Driving rain
and warm sunshine
It was also lovely to see Andy coaching a very young girl shooter on the plinking range ... and then Drew helping her out on the course.
Throw in that this shoot is set in a really picturesque setting and the views are beautiful then this really is a great place for HFT. Oh ... and the farmhouse does cooked breakfasts after the shoot.
If you haven't been to Fort yet ... then get along and support this club ... you will definitely enjoy your shoot.
... and yup it was also nice to see loads of guys mucking in and getting the targets in after the shoot.
Well done Fort lads ... another top effort.
Boz
Cheers Bozzer, nice to know you enjoyed our course Hope to see you at the rest of the shoots (dont feel like you have to score so well every time).
We had alot of stoppages due to stupid things, most were caused by the fishing connectors on the reset strings getting caught on the plate of the target (which wont happen again) and the two targets that were pulled due to the rain weighing branches down and covering targets. You live and learn though
It was nice to see a good turn out of springer shooters in a sport dominated by PCP's and some good scores were put in too, good effort guys. Hats off to mikey 55 and Colin for scoring so high in that rain and wind, a 54 with a springer in that weather is a cracking score. The rain was that bad my "waterproofs" were soaked through by lane 5 and i had to completely strip my HW77 when i got home to remove all the water that had travelled down the comp tube even reaching the spring, It was almost mezmerising watching the plume of water travel up and down with the compression tube whilst cocking the gun
Lets hope that the GP see's better weather next time and that we can keep the courses interesting
Oooer
I took mine out of stock and oiled action and stock but didn't strip it down. Mine too was swooshing water as Comp tube moved backwards and forwards.
See you soon fella
Boz
